The organiser confirms Web Summit returns to Lisbon on 9–12 November 2026 at the MEO Arena in Parque das Nações, the riverside district built for Expo 98 and served by Oriente station and the Metro Red line. Ticket types, the schedule and side events are published only on websummit.com and change through the autumn; this page does not restate them.
Parque das Nações puts the arena and FIL within walking distance and Oriente station at hand, but it fills first, prices earliest and empties in the evening. Avenida da Liberdade, Saldanha and Baixa keep you central with a direct Red line ride from Alameda or Saldanha to Oriente; count twenty to thirty minutes door to door at peak hours. Book against the dates as soon as attendance is likely; waiting for the schedule costs more than a wrong neighbourhood.
Humberto Delgado airport is on the Red line, two stops from Oriente, which makes Parque das Nações the easiest arrival and the centre a single Metro journey. Most attendees arrive on Sunday 8 November and leave on Friday 13, so flights and rooms on those days tighten first. Parque das Nações wins on walking time to the arena and on airport access, and loses on evening life and early sell-out. Central Lisbon on the Red line, around Saldanha, Alameda or Avenida da Liberdade, gives restaurants and a direct ride to Oriente at the cost of peak-hour crowding. Choose by how many evenings you will spend at side events versus in the city.
As soon as attendance is likely. The dates are confirmed for 9–12 November 2026 and rooms across the city, not only near the venue, price up months in advance. Waiting for the published schedule or a ticket category rarely changes the neighbourhood decision and usually raises the price.
Yes. CP long-distance trains leave Oriente for Porto Campanhã, and the Porto gateway page covers arrival and bases there. A Camino start from Porto in mid-November is off-season for pilgrim services, so check accommodation on the stages before committing.
