Runporto schedules the 22nd EDP Maratona do Porto for 8 November 2026 with a 42 km marathon, a 10 km race and a 6 km mini marathon or walk. The organiser's information page sets the start at 8h00, bib collection at the Alfândega do Porto congress centre on 6 and 7 November from 10h to 19h, and the finish and bag drop at the Queimódromo in Parque da Cidade. Course changes, closures and start pens are the organiser's to publish; read them the week before.
The Alfândega sits on the riverside below Miragaia, the finish is by the sea in Parque da Cidade, and the start area is on the western seafront near Sea Life. Baixa or Cedofeita reach the Alfândega on foot and the finish by Metro or bus; Foz and Matosinhos put you near the finish but away from the centre. Ask how the property handles an early breakfast and a late check-out on race day.
Porto airport connects to the centre on Metro Line E; long-distance trains use Campanhã. Arrive by Friday 6 November to collect the bib without a rush, and do not book a departure for Sunday afternoon that depends on riverside roads reopening. Use the dated Metro do Porto and CP timetables for the Sunday, when services run to a weekend pattern.
